Tennessee Fan Who Went Viral For Homemade T-Shirt Declines Scholarship, Re-Opens Recruitment

The young Tennessee football fan who went viral earlier this week after being bullied for wearing  homemade Vols t-shirt, announced today that he was declining a scholarship offer from the university and re-opening his recruitment.

The Florida 4th grader was offered a full 4 year scholarship to attend the university when he graduates high school. However, our sources say that the young boy turned down the scholarship offer almost immediately.

“I appreciate the Vols reaching out with the offer, but I feel like I have a lot going for me in the near future, and I don’t want to get tied down to a failing program.”

After news spread that Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt has been ‘asking Madden’ on every offensive play, the young Vols fan said he knew it was time to jump ship. The Volunteers, coming off 2 brutal losses to Georgia State and BYU, seem to be losing a lot lately both on and off the field.
