The Atlanta Police Department is asking for help in locating Atlanta Braves Pitcher Mike Foltynewicz, after he failed to show up for Game 5 of the NLDS against the Saint Louis Cardinals.
Witnesses say the 28 year old hurler was last seen dashing the Braves World Series hopes atop the mound at SunTrust Park around 4:47pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Teammates of Foltynewicz noticed a shift in his behavior after he gave up four runs in just a third of an inning in route to a 13-1 loss. Foltynewicz was last seen dressed head to toe in Atlanta Braves attire with a steady stream of tears running down both cheeks. His E.R.A. is considered extremely dangerous.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact authorities immediately.
